Alaafia hosted virtual community outreach programs and a one-day conference on Human Trafficking Awareness that included three virtual events and one in-person meeting.
We are focused on providing education and a simple explanation of the different types of human trafficking and how it affects minority youth.
To provide education on the danger of cyber sexual violence via social media, including blackmail and child/youth porn.
To provide awareness on traveling trafficking.
To provide awareness on human trafficking resources to African immigrant and Sickle Cell families.
To provide trauma support for youth victims of human trafficking.
To provide personal skill resources for youth victims of human trafficking.
